Consultations
Yes, we do have a consultation fee. If your visit is primarily for a cosmetic concern, a cosmetic consultation fee applies. If you were referred by your doctor for a functional or reconstructive evaluation, we will bill your insurance for that portion of the visit, though a co-pay may apply depending on your plan. If you also have cosmetic questions, we’re happy to address those during your appointment; however, insurance does not cover cosmetic consultations.
Your consultation is a relaxed, informative visit focused on understanding your concerns and goals. We’ll review your medical history, discuss treatment options, and answer your questions so you feel educated and supported. Our goal is to provide thoughtful guidance and a clear plan—never pressure.
Insurance / Finance
Insurance coverage depends on your condition and anatomy. Functional and reconstructive procedures are covered by insurance if you meet strict criteria. Schedule a consultation to see if you meet the criteria, and we will submit the information to your insurance on your behalf.
It depends on whether you are having cosmetic or functional/reconstructive surgery. You will receive a cosmetic quote if you are having a cosmetic procedure, and a financial estimate if you are having a functional or reconstructive procedure. Keep in mind that the financial estimate is just that-an estimate based on assumptions provided by your insurance of your anticipated out-of-pocket costs, but it is not a final bill.
